Bible Verses Concerning Anger: Do You Struggle With Your Being Short Tempered
Everyone is prone to intense feats of anger. One second you could be feeling happy-go-lucky, like absolutely nothing could possibly ruin your mood, the next second your eyes looking to pop out of their sockets whilst your mouth spouting curses following every other word. Everybody could feel happy, heartbroken, lonesome or ecstatic. So everyone is entitled to feel angry, too.
The one thing about anger is that people today make an effort to justify it too much for their own good. Any time someone gets mad to the level of physical violence, they will try and evade the issue by saying it’s the other person’s wrong doing for their being furious in the first place. Is this the actual attitude God wants us to adopt from the Bible verses? I doubt it. Should we all blame other folks for our own shortcomings and lack of ability to control our own feelings? No. Period.
Nevertheless it needs to be noted there’s also such a matter as righteous anger. Unfortunate yet true, but from time to time we need to experience frustration if we want to release some of our pent up emotional baggage. Store these inner thoughts inside for too long and you risk inviting health problems into your life. You could say eliminate source of your rage instead. Yet who lives a life without problems? Everyone has problems. Even the most joyful and the wealthiest people in the world have problems. No-one is problem-free.
But what is the Bible truly saying concerning anger? Let us rediscover the following Bible verses about anger.
“Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself.
